Land Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge the land on which we gather: the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Nations, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai. We also acknowledge the Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

All of these people are the traditional custodians of this land that we meet, learn and create on. We pay respect to the Elders both past, present and emerging and honour that this land and their continuing connection, always was and always will be Indigenous land.
