SELECT COMMISSIONS
2024: Public Art Commission, PARASOCIAL PARADOX, Contemporary Calgary. This multi-room installation on washroom mirrors explores the oddity of parasocial relationships. In these relationships, we feel close to people we only know through screens, highlighting the illusion of intimacy that social media often sells us. The installation is a commentary on the modern paradox of feeling connected yet isolated, visible yet unseen.
2024:Public Art Commission, QUIET CUBE, Market Collective / Contemporary Calgary. The Quiet Cube is a unique art installation that offers a tranquil retreat amidst the lively atmosphere of a maker market. The inclusive sanctuary welcomes both neurodivergent and neurotypical visitors, providing a quiet respite from the bustling environment and highlighting the importance of accessibility and inclusion in public spaces.
